Action roguelikes reward repetition. Experimenting with builds, learning encounter patterns, and pursuing Challenge Mode can extend playtime beyond a first story completion.

Team Tapas’ Steam page confirms five main chapters and a three-part Epilogue arc. It also states that Challenge Mode unlocks after completing Epilogue 3. That establishes what a full story journey contains, but it does not publish a promised playtime for a first clear, a full epilogue clear, or Challenge Mode.
The source material therefore supports a range of goals rather than one universal duration. A player stopping after a first story milestone is pursuing a different goal from one who reaches the Epilogue or unlocks Challenge Mode. Build familiarity and repeated attempts can also affect an individual session without creating an official time guarantee.
